Fault

The pumping speed is poor

Cause

The connecting pipelines are too small or too long in diameter.

Remedy

Connect the pump using suitable length pipelines with the correct diameter.

Cause

The inlet filter is blocked.

Remedy

Clean or replace the inlet filter.

Fault

There is an external oil leak

Cause

The outer shaft seal is worn or damaged.

Remedy

Replace the seals as supplied in the clean and overhaul kit or return the pump to our

service centre for repair.

Cause

The oil box gaskets have deteriorated.

Remedy

Replace the seals as supplied in the clean and overhaul kit or return the pump to our

service centre for repair.

Cause

There is an oil leak from the gas ballast control.

Remedy

Replace the seals as supplied in the clean and overhaul kit or return the pump to our

service centre for repair.

Cause

There is an oil leak from the drain plug.

Remedy

Replace the seals as supplied in the clean and overhaul kit or return the pump to our

service centre for repair.

Cause

There is an oil leak from the sight glass.

Remedy

Replace the seals as supplied in the clean and overhaul kit or return the pump to our

service centre for repair.

Fault

Any other problems

Cause

Fault conditions other than the ones previously mentioned.

Remedy

Contact us or the supplier.

8.1  Alarm indicator codes

Whenever a fail condition becomes active the red alarm indicator shows a flashing

sequence. If the error light is on continuously this indicates a problem has been found

with the embedded software. In this case, try cycling the power. If cycling the power

does not clear the indication, a software download may be required. In this situation,

contact us or the supplier. If the alarm indicator is flashing, identify the error flash code

and consult

There is a sufficient off period between each subsequent cycle repetition to clearly mark

the start of a new flash sequence. The duration of a long flash (L) is equal to 3 times the

duration of a short flash (0.5 seconds).
