Performing Detailed Editing on the Timeline Palette

DV-7DL PRO provides three buttons for saving the scale of the range displayed on

the Timeline. Numbered 1, 2, and 3, their default values allow you to view a

successively wider range.

This lets you switch (with a single click) the scale you want when you perform fine

adjustments of the relative positions between video, titles or audio at the respective

cut points, or when you want to display everything and view the overall flow of the

sequence.

You can save scales that you use often in to memory buttons by following the steps

below.

Saving the

Scale of the Timeline Palette

You can save often-used scales to the memory buttons by following the steps below.

When the unit shipped from the factory, each button from 1 through 3 was assigned a scale.

Saving overwrites these settings.

Adjust the scale.

Use the +/- (plus/minus) buttons and the DV-7DLC to adjust the scale to what you

want.

Save the scale.

Hold down the “Shift” key on the keyboard and click the +/- Memory button (1

through 3) where you want to save the scale. This saves the current scale.
