transfer or transport files.
2. (for Windows users only) Security: If you wish to password protect your files, a convenient download
is available (www.edgetechcorp.com/support).
3. An executive style ink pen for all of your important documents and notes.
System Requirements
- USB 1.1 or 2.0 interface ports running one of the following operating systems: Windows 98SE,
Windows ME, Windows CE, Windows 2000/XP, Linux 2.4 or higher, MacOS 9.0 or higher.
Warning:
Windows 98SE does not support the built in USB Mass Storage Driver. You will need to install the
driver provided from our website (www.edgetechcorp.com/support/downloads). The driver is only for the
Windows 98SE operating system.
Operating the DiskGO!™
Your DiskGO! USB Flash Drive Plus Ink Pen functions as a portable USB storage device and an executive
style ink pen. Twist the bottom end where the finger grips are located to begin writing. The flash drive is
housed in the top portion of the device. Unscrew the DiskGO! from the middle section to access the
drive and simply plug it in to the USB port on your PC or Mac. No matter what operating system you are
using, your computer will recognize the DiskGO! as if it were an additional hard disk or floppy drive. You
can then copy, create and delete files on your DiskGO!
Windows users:
Access the DiskGO! by browsing through “My Computer”. The DiskGO! will appear as a Removable Disk
with a drive letter assigned, such as “Removable Disk (E:)”.
Warning: If you are using the DiskGO! in a Novell Network environment, consult with your
systems administrator to see if you have any mapped network drives. Mapped network drives
can override the built-in drive lettering feature of Windows machines and can prevent your
DiskGO! from being properly recognized by your system.
Macintosh users:
Access the DiskGO! by double-clicking the icon that appears on the desktop (usually called “No_Name”).
Ink Replacement
To change the ink cartridge, pull the unit straight out at the bottom where the finger grips are located.
Unscrew the small screw end cap from the ink cartridge and pull out. Remove the end cap from the old
cartridge and replace it on the new cartridge (uses 2.5" standard ink refill).
Reverse this procedure to install the new cartridge
