Caution
Do not wear any clothing items or
items that could
become caught in the wood, undergrowth or moving
parts of the device.
Caution
The knife screws for the blades must be tightened
using a torque of
35Nm
. Check that the knives are
securely attached before each use.
Transport
Only transport the device with the motor switched
off and carry the device with the knife head turned
back. When transporting on vehicles, the device
must be protected against tipping over and fuel
leaking.
Installing the support and blade head
Unscrew the two nuts from the V-belt cover and
remove the cover.

Move the carrier with the slit between the two
threaded pins.

The belt is then set between the V-belt disc and the
clutch drum. The V-belt cover is mounted again and
the nuts are slightly tightened. When mounting the
cover, it must be ensured that the pins for tightening
the V-belt engaged in the hole in the carrier (see fig.
2 and 3). The V-belt can then be tightened using
the V-belt tightening screw.
Make sure that the V-belt is always sufficiently pre-
tensioned.
The two V-belt cover nuts are then tightened.

Commissioning
Before you start the chainsaw, you have to check
whether the conditions are safe for working. Check:
that the carrier is mounted correctly and
check
the
tension of the V-belt.
the operating reliability of the brake
the operating reliability of the gas lever
that all knives are securely attached
