INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IIMPORTANT NOTE:

Do not allow the master cylinder to completely drain of brake fluid at any time during this process.

Doing so may require removing the master cylinder from the vehicle for bench bleeding. Also, use care when handling
brake fluid, as it can quickly damage finished surfaces (paint, plating, etc.).

1.

Remove factory brake hoses, noting routing. Cap hard lines and calipers.

2.

Using factory banjo bolt and supplied crush washers, install banjo end of Russell front hose onto caliper oriented
up and in with bend towards front

(See Fig. 1).

3.

Install inboard hose end through hole in factory bracket and retain with supplied E-clip. Attach hardline to hose end.

4.

Locate hose and ABS wire to upper a-arm using supplied clamp, locknut, bolt, and spacer. Insert bolt through clamp
on ABS wire and thread through factory-tapped hole in a-arm. Install spacer and clamp on hose onto end of bolt
under a-arm and secure with locknut

(See Fig. 2 & Fig. 3)

.

5.

Install Russell rear hoses (Inner and Outer as marked) using factory routing. Retain hose ends in factory brackets
with supplied E-clips.

6.

Check hose clearance throughout entire steering and suspension travel range.

7.

Bleed the system and check for leaks while applying pressure.
