not used.
Terminals 6 - 7 - 8:
see section 11.1 and 11.2
Terminals 9 - 10:
Indirect storage tank sensor connection for
Utica Boiler MAH-125
model.
If the appliance is connected to an infloor system, install a limit thermostat to prevent the latter from overheating.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Use the relative cable grommets at the bottom of the boiler to thread the cables through to the terminal blocks.
11.1 CONNECTING THE 120 V ROOM THERMOSTAT
HIGH VOLTAGE -
The connections in terminal block M1 are high voltage (120 V). Before making connections, make
sure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply. Respect polarity L (LIVE) - N (NEUTRAL).
To connect the 120V Room Thermostat to the boiler, proceed as described below:
•
switch off the boiler;
•
access the terminal block
M1
;
•
remove the yellow jumper on terminals
1
&
2
of the
M1
bus.
•
remove the jumper from the ends of contacts
1-2
and connect the wires of the
120 V
Room Thermostat;
•
switch on the boiler and make sure the Room Thermostat works correctly.
11.2 CONNECTING THE 24 V ROOM THERMOSTAT
To connect a 24 V Room Thermostat proceed as follows:
•
switch off the boiler;
•
access the terminal block
M2
;
•
connect the wires of the 24 V Room Thermostat to the terminals
6(R)-7(W)-8(C)
;
•
switch on the boiler and make sure the 24 V Room Thermostat works correctly.
NOTE: the maximum load admitted is 10 mA
To connect a 24 V Heat anticipator Room Thermostat proceed as follows:
•
switch off the boiler;
•
access the terminal block
M2
;
•
connect the wires of the 24 V Heat anticipator Room Thermostat to the terminals
6-7
;
•
connect a bridge between the terminals
6-8
