Operating Instructions:
1.
To charge the internal battery in the SPL260 using solar power:
Unfold to expose two HD solar panels, and place SPL260 in
location with direct sunlight. The green “SOLAR” indicator will
illuminate when the unit is being charged by sunlight.
2.
To charge the internal battery in the SPL260 using external
power: Open the sealed cap, connect the USB cable into the
micro-USB input port on the SPL260, then plug the USB end
of the cable into a computer or other 5V USB power supply.
The red “AC IN” indicator will illuminate when the unit is being
charged by external power (indicator will turn green once fully
charged)
3.
To charge an external device using the SPL260: Open the
sealed cap, connect your devices USB cable into the USB
output port on the SPL260, then plug the other end of the
cable into your device. Note: the SPL260 does not need to be
in the sun to charge your device.

To check charge status of the SPL260: Press the power button
on the SPL260, and the blue battery status LEDs will illuminate:
a.
1st LED: 25% charged
b.
2nd LED: 50% charged
c.
3rd LED: 75% charged
d.
4th LED: 100% charged

Important: Maintaining Waterproofness
If the cap is not properly closed, your SPL260 is NOT watertight.
To ensure the unit is watertight & waterproof, ALWAYS CLOSE
THE CAP PROPERLY. To do this, press the cap into place firmly
and ensure the seal is not damaged or dislodged.
