Caution:
The following operations may be done only by a qualified person. Before
starting the below described procedures, disconnect the unit from power
source by disconnecting main power cord. The unit may be reconnected to
power source after finishing all operations!
6.7.1. Parts Replacement
In this part of menu can be noted seals exchange (in working head and washing head),
check valves and pistons replacement. In the following chapters is described process of
replacement of these parts and recording in
Menu/Servis/Replacement/Seals(Check valves,
Pistons)
. Terms for exchange and unit maintenance is stated in chapter
Other replaceable parts are needle and O-ring in degassing/purging valve. This exchange is
not recorded by the device.
Caution:
Before and after parts replacement, print and file Info sheet from Ecomac or
from Clarity.
Caution:
New parts should be rinsed in isopropanol or methanol before replacement.
Eventually clean them in ultrasound.
Caution:
Regularly reset the counters (see 6.5.6) after parts replacement. Information
in the counter are very important for future unit service.
6.7.1.1. Seals
Caution:
Pump piston is made of fragile material. Improper manipulation may cause
irreversible harm or piston fracture!
Disconnect the unit from power
source!!!
Disconnect inlet tubing.
Loosen nut on left head using side
wrench ¼“.
Dismount output capillary.
Loosen screws in left head using
TX20 screwdriver from unit
accessories.
