6.2.5. Solvents
In each sub menu are set possibilities to watch residual volume of mobile phase.
6.2.5.1. Solvents Limit
Limit of mobile phase residual volume can be set in range
1-10000 ml
. Default value is
100 ml.

In this menu item can be set desired mode of warning regarding insufficiency of mobile.

AS ERROR
An error is evoked and pump stops running and turns to idle status. After
pump restart it is necessary to change the actual volume of residual mobile
phase in
Menu/Parameters/Solvents volume
or temporarily change the mode
to one of the previous possibilities.
6.2.6. Log. Level
in this menu item can be selected basic (
NORMAL
– default setting) or detailed (
DETAILED
)
mode of logging unit work. The records can be read only by PC. Default setting
NORMAL
.
6.2.7. Leakage
Leakage sensor contains reference and measuring sensor. If measuring sensor is immersed
in liquid, sensor generates a signal. Processing of this signal depends on actual setting. The pump
also processes the leakage sensor from connected box. Behavior setting is then common for both
sensors, but descriptions of warnings and errors are different.
If a leakage occurs, at first it is necessary to eliminate the leakage, then dry up the area of
liquid drain and especially the measuring sensor. After drying the sensor, it is necessary to wait at
least 1 min, then the icon and warning on main screen turns off. Error will be removed after pump
restart.

6.3. Control

initialization/stop/reinitialization of program, setting of gradient program and gradient valves
closing.
