CAUTION!
Without regular maintenance and calibration of the unit, proper
functioning cannot be guaranteed.
Because of the risk of chemical burns, the prescribed protective clothing
(safety goggles, safety gloves, apron) must be worn during all service and
repair work on parts that come into contact with dangerous products and
supply containers. Safety regulations on the handling of chemicals must
always be observed.
Maintenance and repair may only be carried out by authorized personnel
with reference to these Operating Instructions.
In order to ensure the operational safety and functional efficiency of
DG1-III
the must be maintained at the prescribed maintenance intervals.
The period between installation and the first maintenance or two
consecutive maintenance intervals must not exceed 12 months.
If this time interval specified by the RKI is exceeded, deviations in the
concentration and thus under- or overdoses may occur under certain
circumstances.
Before repair work on product and water-bearing components
(e.g. solenoid valve) the angle valve must be closed and the water pressure
in the unit reduced. For this purpose, press the pause button.
CAUTION!
Electrical repairs may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Prior to any repair work, the device is to be de-energized by isolating it from
mains and is to be secured to ensure that it cannot be switched back on.
Live parts may be exposed when opening covers or removing parts (apart
from covers that can be opened or parts that can be removed without using
tools). Connecting parts can also be live.
