Specific security instructions
Be careful! This appliance produces vapour; scalding is possible as a result.
Never check the fluidity of the vapour jet on skin, animals or plants and do not aim it directly at electrical
equipment and installations containing electrical components such as the interior of an oven.
Also avoid all direct contacts with the wiping cloth (90°-100°C) without any protection (gloves or towel), or wait
till the wiping cloth cools down completely.
Do not add additives, cleaning products, or other. Only use clear and pure water.
Wait until your appliance has cooled down before you stow it away.
After each use, empty and rinse the tank (2), never forget to wash the small filter (5) and set it back into place.
Do not use the appliance
on delicate or bonded surfaces, painted objects, silk, Tergal, leather, velvet,
wallpaper, un varnished, waxed or laminated wood, or any other heat or moisture sensitive surfaces.
If in
doubt, try to clean an inconspicuous area
. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage to objects or
surfaces.
Only use the appliance on smooth, solid, flat surfaces, able to support heat and humidity. The appliance is not
suitable for non-heat-resistant plastics, and avoid cleaning glass surfaces
at low temperatures (<7-8°C)
.
When cleaning bonded objects, overheating may damage the adhesive.
Only use the cord which is supplied with the appliance, directly into a complying socket with ground
connection.
Always unwind completely the power- cord for each use.
Never use the appliance in the presence of flammable materials or substances such as gas or explosives.
Avoid thermal shocks

Never spray steam on cold glass .
When in doubt, do not use the appliance if the temperature is below 7°C, or pre-heat the item with a short
steam jet without the wiping cloth.
After use and before user maintenance, the appliance must be powered off by disconnecting it from the
mains.
For a fast and efficient cleaning of windows proceed as followed
:

Pre-heat if needed

Set the window scraping joint (11) laterally against the window joint without overlapping it; start from
the top of the window.

Press the steam button (15) briefly and repeatedly and work from top to bottom, holding the head
always horizontally.

Keep doing this, from top to bottom, until you have covered the whole width of the pane.

When the window is finished, wipe the few remaining traces of water.
Never contact electric components, such as sockets, switches, cables, HIFI systems, computiers, screens, or
household appliances.
Fly droppings and other stains can be removed easily with the hot wiping cloth.
