Adjustment speed for compressor speed output
A speed increase is performed using a ramp speed of max. 1 V/s, a reduction with max. 4 V/s.
The correcting variable for the speed controller is calculated from the P-component and the I-component.

If all compressor stages are switched off and the actual value is greater than the setpoint (positive control
error), the first compressor stage (C1: enable frequency converter) is switched on immediately. The speed
control is not activated until after expiry of a delay time (time = basic time ON C1 – see also (menus 3-2-3-a
and 3-2-4-a). The compressor is operated with a configurable minimum speed during the time delay.
5.4.3.1 Switching On / Switching Off of Fixed-Speed Compressors
If the required capacity can no longer be provided by modifying the already set compressor speed, fixed-speed
compressors can be loaded or unloaded. If the speed-regulated compressor has reached its maximum speed,
the fixed-speed compressor with the shortest operating time is loaded.
The speed-regulated compressor is slowed to a value which corresponds to the capacity without the additional
fixed-speed compressor. Compressors that can be assigned to the speed controller using base load rotation
are loaded last.
If the speed-regulated compressor has reached its minimum speed, the fixed-speed compressor with the
longest operating time is unloaded. The speed-controlled compressor is accelerated to a value which
corresponds to the capacity with the additional fixed-speed compressor. In the case of combined control
operating mode with non capacity-controlled fixed-speed compressors (see chapter
Fixed-Speed Compressors During Operation with Capacity-Controlled Compressors
performed after unloading a fixed-speed compressor in the case of larger control errors (> 2 K).
Compressors that can be assigned to the speed controller using base load rotation are unloaded first. The
following graph shows the controller profile of a compressor pack with 2 compressors without capacity
regulation.
The characteristic of the frequency converter must be configurable for this so that an output signal of 0 V at the
analogue output for compressor control corresponds to the minimum frequency and an output signal of 10 V
corresponds to the maximum frequency. The input signal of the frequency converter must be configured as 0 V
– 10 V interface. , the pack controller can be adjusted to the settings of the FC using the parameters
