5.10.2 LT compressor switching and standstill times
There are basic and variable switching times for the loading and unloading of the up to three LT compressors.
The variable times are calculated based on the configurable control constant.
A configurable Standzeit S1 is maintained for compressor 1 with the frequency converter.

5.10.3 LT compressor monitoring
The following monitoring functions are applicable for the LT circuit.
Suction gas superheat The superheat in the LT circuit is monitored and alarms are signalled if necessary.
The associated messages are:
Low superheat
Measuring circuit error
Cylinder head temperature Cylinder head temperatures are monitored and alarms are signalled if necessary. Compressors are
unloaded or also disabled. The cylinder head temperature sensors are distributed among NT, MP and
LT compressors; a maximum of 8 sensors is possible.
The associated messages are:
High temp.
Measuring circuit error
Safety chain The safety chain consists of:
LP cutout
Oil / HP switch (optional)
Motor overload cutout (optional)
An HP cutout for the LT circuit is not installed. However, the LT compressors are switched off
with the HP cutout of the NT circuit => no mechanical shutdown is performed
The LT compressor combined control does not have a neutral zone.

