If the gas cooler outlet temperature is regulated using the step controller, the number of running compressor
stages is output via the
fan speed analogue output according to the following equation:
5.6.5.2 Fan Motors - Star-Delta Switching
The relay stages of the gas cooler outlet temperature regulation can be used for star-delta switching of the fan
motors for the controller. This requires that the system is configured on the hot side as step controller.
A selection can be made between three switching modes (menu 3-2-2-1-b).
Direct
No star-delta switching. Up to 12 fans can be controlled.
KKGG
The first half of the relay outputs actuates the star operation of the fan motors (K = low speed) while the
second half of the outputs actuates the delta operation (G = high speed). A maximum of 6 fans can be
controlled.
KKKG
The fan motors are loaded or unloaded with all except the last relay stage. With the last relay stage, all fans
are switched simultaneously from star operation (K = low speed) to delta operation (G = high speed) and
vice versa. A maximum of 11 fans can be controlled.
5.6.5.3 Parametrisation of the Switching Modes
If the gas cooler outlet temperature is controlled using a step controller, the fan capacity stages are switched on
or off using the controller relay outputs.
These outputs can also be used for star-delta switching of the fan motors. Using the following selection list,
three switching modes can be selected for this via the parameter
