5.5.1.2 High Pressure Setpoint Determination
The controller calculates a setpoint for the gas cooler outlet temperature depending on the outdoor temperature
for the fan control. An optimal HP setpoint depending on the gas cooler outlet temperature is also calculated
that is used for the regulation of the high pressure using a continuous high pressure valve. Any desired
supercooling is taken into account for the determination of the HP setpoint in the subcritical range. The
supercooling can be set in menu 3-2-2-2 using the
Subcooling
parameter. The following graph shows the
progression of the high pressure setpoint over the gas cooler outlet temperature.
The calculated high pressure setpoint is limited by the
HP-Min
and
HP-Max
parameters (menu 3-2-2-2).
If the sensor for the gas cooler outlet temperature is defective, a fixed setpoint of 80 bar is used for the
HP regulation.
No HP regulation can take place if the HP pressure transmitter is defective. A configurable emergency
opening degree (parameter
