5.4.2.1 Neutral Zone with Compressor Step Control
Definition
If the control variable t

) is within the range of the neutral zone, no changes are performed by the controller.
The regulation setpoint is always in the middle of the neutral zone.
Step controller
The step controller shows the following behaviour in the neutral zone:
No compressor switching operations are performed
The loading and unloading times for compressors are set up again
The neutral zone can be configured separately for day and night operation.

5.4.2.2 Compressor Switching Times for Compressor Step Regulation
On the one hand, the compressor switching times are there to minimise unnecessary switching cycles of the
compressor stages, and on the other hand to optimally introduce the pack output (temporal and control action)
for the required refrigeration capacity.
Compressor actuation is only performed
if the control variable (to-actual_value) is outside the neutral zone
if a configured time for the supply or return has elapsed
The flow or return time restarts in the neutral zone and only runs if the control variable is outside the neutral
zone.
