6.4.1 Procedure for the start-up of a system
The following signals from the pack controller are available for the specific control of the FC / speed controller:
1. Enable FC / speed controller
In the case of compressor combined control, frequency converter is enabled via the relay outputs for NT
compressor 1 (terminals 13/14) and LT compressor 1 (terminals 15/18). In the case of speed controlled
condenser fans, the enable for the FC / speed controller is issued via the relay output for fan 1 (SIOX extension
module 1, terminals 15/18). In controlled operation, this enable is withdrawn in the case of too low suction gas /
gas cooler outlet temperature. The example for LT compressors shows a system
without
power supply
bridging.
2. Speed controller fault signal input
A. Speed controlled compressor or condenser control:
In the case of compressor combined control or fan speed control, the fault signal outputs of the frequency
converters / speed controllers can be monitored.
For NT compressors, the monitoring is performed using digital input 4 of the basic module (terminals 57/56).
For LT compressors, the monitoring is performed using digital input 13 of the basic module (terminals
75/74).
The message text for the
FC Fault
input when compressor combined control is parametrised is
Mot.Temp 1/FU-
Stör.
ATTENTION
The following circuit diagrams are simplified diagrams from the controller to the FC (using the example
of the
smd
series from
Lenz
e) and to the speed controller (using the example of the
ADR
series from
Micro Nova
). Detailed safety precautions (e.g. interlocks) are not shown in the simplified diagrams and
must be taken into account for the installation.
The FC / speed controller must be parametrised here so that the enable is issued in the case of closed
contact contact, i.e. application of a voltage.
