6.6.1.2 Language and time

The settings relating to the language of the web-based interface and the time of the Combi-Gateway are config
ured under the tab

Global settings / Language and time

Language

The option ”LDS” as well as the supported languages can also be selected in the drop-down box. In this case,
the language of the configuration interface is automatically changed to the language selected as ”system lan
guage” in the store computer provided this is supported by the Combi-Gateway.

Time

Different time zones of the Earth with the UTC information are available for the options for setting the time zone.

UTC is coordinated world time which is a standard. Starting from the Greenwich Meridian, the other times in the
different time zones of the world are derived.

A time specification in the form 12:15 UTC+1:00 means 12:15 local time (local zone time) for a time zone which
is one hour in advance of UTC (e.g. CET). The UTC at this time is then 11:15.
