2.

Pull the drive shaft (C) from the
housing, wipe clean and re-coat
with a thin coating (15 ml [1/2 oz.])
of grease.

3.

Slide the drive shaft back in the
drive housing being careful not to
get dirt on the flex shaft.

4.

Install the gear housing assembly.

Flat edge of washers (D) must be against drive shaft.

Blades

Blades should only be removed and reinstalled by an Authorized ECHO
Servicing Dealer, otherwise premature wear or internal damage may
occur.

Sharpening

Level 2.

Hedge Trimmer blades are very sharp. Touching them may lead to
severe personal injury. Avoid touching blades whenever possible,
and always wear gloves to protect hands.
