4-1 Inspecting air filter
1. Close choke shutter.
2. Turn lifting hook (A) down to the end.
3. Unlatch air cleaner cover latch (B) with screw
driver (C) or equivalent.
4. Turn up and remove air cleaner cover (D).
5. Turn air filter (E) counterclockwise and remove
it.
6. Inspect air filter (E). If blocked with dirt or dust,
remove the obstruction with using brush.
7. If heavily blocked with dirt or dust, clean air filter
(E) with compressed air or wash away with non-
inflammable solvent/detergent.
WARNING DANGER
Wear eye protection when working with
compressed air. Eye damage can occur from
flying particles.
