OPERATION
Product Damage
High humidity and condensation on the board surface causes short circuits.
Do not operate the board outside the specified environmental limits.
Make sure the board is completely dry and there is no moisture on any surface before applying power.
Damage of Circuits
Electrostatic discharge and incorrect installation and removal can damage circuits or shorten their life.
Before touching the board or electronic components, make sure that you are working in an ESD-safe envi-
ronment.
INSTALLATION
Data Loss
Powering down or removing a board before the operating system or other software running on the board
has been properly shut down may cause corruption of data or file systems.
Make sure all software is completely shut down before removing power from the board or removing the
board from the chassis.
Product Damage
Only use injector handles for board insertion to avoid damage to the front panel and/or PCB. Deformation
of the front panel can cause an electrical short or other board malfunction.
Product Damage
Inserting or removing modules with power applied may result in damage to module components.
Before installing or removing additional devices or modules, read the documentation that came with the
product.
ENVIRONMENT
Always dispose of used products according to your country's legislation and manufacturer's instructions.
