How to Remove a Slave Valve

Special Instructions

The air lines should be removed.

Special Tools

Typical service mechanic tools needed

To Remove

Remove the retaining capscrews.

From the shift bar cover, remove the slave valve
and gasket. You may need to use a plastic
hammer to remove.

Thoroughly clean gasket area. Do not get gasket
material or dirt in the shift bar housing ports or
valve ports.

If the insert valves have been damaged, remove
the plugs and insert valves.
