6 .3 .3 Record
The Record option allows the user to begin recording a
new message or delete a message in to any slot. The
Recording function does not prevent the user from
recording into a disabled slot, however it will not change
its availability to be played by an access panel or via the
rear inputs.

see section 6.4.
6 .3 .3 .1 Message slot selection
To a record a new message the user needs to identify
the message slot to use. This is achieved using the front
panel switch in combination with the message indicator
(see section 6.2.2).

If Recording is accidentally selected then scrolling though the
message slots until none are selected, after slot 12, will safely close
recording mode.
Once a message slot has been selected for record, the
standard record process will begin, see section 6.4.
