6 .2 .6  Fuse

This indicates the status of the internal fuse for the 48 V 

dc input.

6 .2 .7  DC PSU

This indicates internal power supplies feeding the main 

electronic circuit are available.

6 .2 .8  Switch indications

These four options are available to user by using the 

front panel switch. The options are scrolled through by 

repeated presses of the front panel switch  

(see section 6.3).

6 .3  Front panel operation

From the front of the Ms12 a selection button on the 

right-hand side of the unit is available for the user to 

interact with the unit. Pressing this button will allow 

access to a number of available operations; play 

messages, record new messages, or reset the fault 

conditions on the unit. The indicators will continually 

scroll to the next choice on repeated presses. Both 

the “message select” and “record” options require 

selection of a message slot. This is available after 

waiting for 2-3 seconds for one of the green message 

LEDs to start flashing.
