Customers establish communications with the TFA STS through connection to a Contractor Board and an
optional Ethernet port. These connections support several protocols and options, which can all be used
simultaneously.

The Contractor Board and the Ethernet port are both located in the Contractor Board Compartment near the
bottom right front of the TFA STS, covered by a lockable panel.

Ethernet and/or Modbus RTU communications cables can be run from the top or bottom of the unit to the
Contractor Board Compartment.

Bottom cable entry:

The Contractor Board Compartment has a 1.1" dia. cable feed hole for 3/4" conduit.

Top cable entry:

The top front right corner of the unit has a 1.1" dia. cable feed through hole for 3/4" conduit

leading to an internal cable raceway down to the Contractor Board Compartment.
