Demonstrate phases are in line
The cast-resin insulated members are marked with the
letters A to K for measuring and testing purposes.
Measuring points for phase
Check that all phases are live
1. Test the phase sequence indicator
2. Connect one test probe to earth.
3. Bring the other test probe in contact with one of the
phases to be tested:
For cables:
points A, B, C, D, E, F;
For busbars:
points G, H, K.
4. Check that the phase sequence indicator displays a
voltage each time.
5. Repeat this procedure for all phases to be tested.
6. Test the phase sequence indicator once again.

Demonstrate cables are in line
1. Check that all phases are live.
2. Put a test probe on one phase and use the other test
probe to touch the phase of the other part bearing the
same identification (points A-B, C-D and E-F).
3. Check that the phase sequence indicator indicates no
voltage each time.
4. Repeat this procedure for all phase pairs to be tested.
5. Test the phase sequence indicator once again.
