8.4. Alarm Tests
For details of all alarms and troubleshooting of those alarms, refer to the SC200 System Controller
Operation Handbook (see section 1.3. Related Information on page 5)
Alarm Type
Procedure
Expected Result
Remove 1 Rectifier
On the SC200 controller the following LED(s) will be lit,
depending on system configuration: -
Minor Alarm LED
(Yellow) will be lit
or
Major Alarm LED
(Red) will be lit
Rectifier Fail
Refit Rectifier after
test
On the SC200 controller the Minor Alarm LED
(Yellow) or
the Major Alarm LED
(Red) will be extinguished
Remove more than
1 Rectifier
On the SC200 controller the following LED(s) will be lit,
depending on system configuration: -
Minor Alarm LED
(Yellow) will be lit
or
Major Alarm LED
(Red) will be lit
Multiple
Rectifier Fail
Refit Rectifiers after
test
On the SC200 controller the Minor Alarm LED
(Yellow) or
the Major Alarm LED
(Red) will be extinguished
Switch off 1 Battery
MCB
On the SC200 controller the following LED(s) will be lit,
depending on system configuration: -
Minor Alarm LED
(Yellow) will be lit
or
Major Alarm LED
(Red) will be lit
Battery Fuse
Fail
Switch on the
Battery MCB after
test
On the SC200 controller the Minor Alarm LED
(Yellow) or
the Major Alarm LED
(Red) will be extinguished
Switch off 1 Load
MCB
On the SC200 controller the following LED(s) will be lit,
depending on system configuration: -
Minor Alarm LED
(Yellow) will be lit
or
Major Alarm LED
(Red) will be lit
Load Fuse
Fail
Switch on the Load
MCB after test
On the SC200 controller the Minor Alarm LED
(Yellow) or
the Major Alarm LED
(Red) will be extinguished
