Measuring Values
Read Out Measured Values
In the [Operation / Measured Values] menu, both measured and calculated values can be
viewed. The measured values are ordered by »Standard values« and »Special
values« (depending on the type of device).
Display Options
Menu [Operation / General Settings] offers options to change the display of measured
values within the HMI and PowerPort-E.
Scaling of Measured values
By means of the parameter [Operation / General Settings] »Scaling« the user can
determine how measured values are to be displayed within the HMI and PowerPort-E:
• Per unit values
• Primary values
• Secondary values
Temperature Unit (applies only for devices with temperature measurement)
By means of the parameter [System Para] »Temperature Unit« the user can determine
how temperatures (of measured values and settings) are displayed within the HMI and
PowerPort-E:
• ° Celsius
• ° Fahrenheit
Phase Angles
The phase angles of current phasors are determined from the fundamental component
and always refer to a particular reference phasor.
The reference phasor is usually the first current measuring input IA (Slot X3).
If, however, it happens that the amplitude of the reference phasor becomes too small, the
next possible measurement channel is used as the reference phasor, i. e. IB.
If this, too, is not healthy the EMR-3MP0 proceeds with IC.
By definition the reference phasor has a phase angle of 0°.
