Status display
800
After power on, the easy800 shows the status display of the basic device.
The status display has four lines. If a local expansion is connected to easy800
standard, press OK to show the status display of the local expansion in the
display (
section “Status display additional information”, page 74).
Each dot of the status display represents the status of the corresponding
input, output, ID etc. If the operand number is indicated, the status is 1;
if a dot is indicated, the status is 0.

Lines 1 and 4: Inputs/outputs
Line 1 shows the status of the basic device inputs. Line 4 shows the basic
device outputs and its operating mode (RUN, STOP or BUSY).
800 operating principle in the circuit diagram and function
Line 2: System information, diagnostics
You can change the content of line 2 (and 3) by pressing ALT. After the initial
power up, the easy800 device indicates with P- that the cursor buttons
(P buttons) are not active and therefore cannot be used as button inputs in
the standard circuit diagram. Active P buttons are indicated with P+
(
Section “P PUSHBUTTONS“, Page 303). The will show further system
information easy800in line 2 (
Section “Status display additional
information“, Page 74) depending on the parameters and the peripheral
devices connected.
Starting from the initial status display, you can press ALT twice to show the
following diagnostics messages in line 2 and 3:
LED orange flashing
Target configuration currently being determined
LED red flashing
One station too many
External device plug empty - station missing

LED red continuous light
No connection between easy800-SWD and the SWD line
Short-circuit of the 15 V DC device voltage
