Robust optical signalling device for use in hazardous areas of Group II and the zones 1 and 2, 21 and 22
Use
Where hazardous area conditions prevail there often is a need to use optical signals for warning, notifica- tion or
signalling. The Ex II-flash light offers the necessary signalling capability. It is designed for continu- ous use. The flash light
dSLB 20 is activated by switching on the sup- ply voltage and can be delivered with different rated voltages. The stable
IP 66 / IP 67 casing may be installed indoors or outdoors.
Construction
The Ex II-flash light consists of a small flame-proof aluminium casing with a glass hood made of hardened borosilicate
glass to accommodate the electronic parts. The terminal box is designed for increased safety.
The outer dome, wich is necessary for the coloring, is screwed to the upper part of the housing with the protective cage.
