NOTE 1

The UPS cabinets may be installed in an EIA-standard 48.3 cm (19") equipment rack. An
optional rack-mounting kit (P-157002204), containing brackets and required hardware, is
available.

NOTE 2

This procedure is also applicable to the P-103002494 12-slot external battery module
(EBM).

Use the following mounting procedures to install the UPS cabinet into the equipment rack:

1.

Install rack-mount ears ( two per side ) on each side of the UPS cabinet ( See

Figure 10

).

Select the proper holes in the front vertical rack rails that position the rack tray at the bottom in the rack
and extend the back rails to align with the rear holes. Secure with the screws and washers (see
