Use tape to fasten the COPPER and 
ALUMINUM FILTERS TL-5259 to each 
other.

Important

The COPPER FILTER must be directly next 
to the X-RAY TUBE.

Insert both of the FILTERS into the 
bottom of the X-RAY TUBE. If 
necessary, use tape to adhere the 
FILTERS to the bottom of the X-RAY 
TUBE.

Preparing the Equipment

Important

A LEAD SHEET and the help of a RT is 
necessary for this procedure.

•

The specification for the “mAs” might 
have a difference.

first setup of the X-ray equipment:
