REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
Front Wheel Replacement
Tools required: one 8 mm hex wrench and one 17mm spanner, one 5mm hex wrench.
1.
Using a 8 mm hex wrench, and a 17mm spanner, loosen and remove the front axle by turning the wrenches counterclockwise.
2.
Reinstall the new wheel ensuring to note the order and location of all components.
3.
Reinstall hardware and tighten clockwise with a 8 mm hex wrench and a 17mm spanner.
MAINTENANCE AND DISPOSAL OF BATTERY
Do not store the battery in an environment above 25°C or below 0°C.
THIS SCOOTER CONTAINS SEALED LEAD-ACID BATTERIES, WHICH SHALL BE RECYCLED IN PURSUANCE OF YOUR LOCAL LAWS
AND REGULATIONS. PLEASE STUDY AND UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS ON DISPOSAL OF THE BATTERIES.
Disposal: This product contains sealed lead-acid batteries, which shall be disposed of or recycled properly and well-advisedly for respecting
the environment. Please do not treat waste batteries as domestic waste. Do not throw them into fire, which may result in leakage of hazardous
substances or explosion. In most regions, it is forbidden to dispose of sealed lead-acid cells by incineration, or in a landfill or in domestic waste.
Please take waste batteries to a lead-acid battery recycling centre authorised by the local authorities or contact your local authorities.
Warning: Do not use new and old batteries in combination. Do not use alkaline, standard (C-Zn), and non-rechargeable (Ni-Cd) batteries in
combination. Do not store the battery in an environment above 25°C or below 0°C.
Charger
The charger supplied with the scooter should be regularly checked if cord, plug, enclosure and other parts are damaged. In the event of such
damage the scooter must not be charged until the charger has been repaired or replaced.
WARNING: If a battery leak develops, avoid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged battery in a plastic bag. Refer to the disposal
instructions above. If acid comes into contact with skin or eyes, wash with cool water for at least 15 minutes and contact a doctor.
Warning: if you cannot comfortably perform above adjustments, please contact the customer service or a qualified bicycle or motorcycle mecha-
nic. The chain should always be in the “tight” state – i.e. be stretched. The chain should not be too tight, or the motor or other drive parts may be
seriously damaged.
REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
Battery Charger
Only use the charger supplied with the scooter. Do not use a damaged or faulty charger to charge your scooter. Please buy an original charger
to replace it.
Wheels
Wear and tear in the wheels and the driving system are unavoidable in the course of operation. The user must regularly check the wheels and
the driving system for wearing and make adjustment or replacement when necessary.
WARNING! Wash your hands with detergent after handling waste batteries.
