�. Open the rubber cover on the collar unit and connect the charge adaptor.
�. Plug in the charge adaptor to a standard household outlet.

TESTING THE BL-��� AT TEST MODE
TEST MODE
Rotate the mode select dial to “T”. The LED will be ON for � second
and will flicker thereafter. After a while, the BL-��� will enter a sleep
mode and the LED is turned off.
If the sensor detects any signal, tone and level � stimulation will be
triggered with red LED.
LED will flicker again after stimulation is emitted. The color of the LED
indicates the remaining battery level.
In Test Mode, the output will be triggered when the sensor detects the
signal.
Test the BL-��� by scratching

figure. If LED is ON and you hear
the tone sound, it means BL-���
is working properly.

To register your Einstein product, please log onto our website at
www.ecollar.com, click on the warranty registration link and fill out the
required information. Please register your product within �� days of your
purchase. If you do not have access to a computer, please call our toll
free number of �-���-���-���� and one of our customer service
representatives will register your product for you. In the event the
product is not properly registered proof of purchase will be needed to
obtain warranty work. Product returns without proper registration and
proof of purchase will be subject to a warranty start date estimated by
your units serial number. Misuse, improper maintenance, lost units are
not covered by this warranty.
Your Limited Lifetime Warranty begins the date of the original purchase.
During the first year all parts and labor are covered ���% including the
rechargeable batteries. After the one year replacement warranty has
expired the Limited Lifetime Warranty is activated. The labor and
shipping costs to repair the defective unit are not included and are the
responsibility of the customer. All material will be provided at no cost to
the customer. Labor fees will be calculated based on the extent of the
work performed.
We will not be satisfied until you are ���% satisfied with your product
from E-Collar Technologies.

HOW TO SELECT THE CORRECT MODE
The lower the stimulation, the better. Always start with level � and
increase the level should your dog not respond appropriately.
Your dog should not vocalize when administered the corrective stimulus.
He may twist his head as if a bee was buzzing him.
Increase one level at time to prevent over stimulation.
The auto mode is an option should you desire a quicker approach.
The collar should be adjusted to allow the “contact points” to have direct
contact with the skin. You should be able to fit a couple of fingers
between the collar strap and your dog. Too tight poses the risk of skin
irritation and discomfort. Too loose and the contact points will not be
able to administer the stimulation reliably.
The optimal position for the collar receiver is on either side of the dog’s
windpipe.

CONTACT POINTS
To protect dog’s skin, contact points is made by medical stainless steel.
The length of contact points is designed to directly contact to dog’s skin.
IMPORTANT : When BL-��� is powered ON, please don’t touch the two contact
points at the same time. You may get stimulated.
To prevent the occurrence of skin irritations the BarkLess Collar should
never be worn for more than �� hours per day. Should your dog
experience skin irritations from over exposure to the contact points
remove the collar receiver unit immediately and stop using your e-collar
until all skin irritations are totally healed. Antibiotic ointment will aid in the
healing process.
Some dog breeds have very thick fur that requires special contact
points, please contact customer service or www.ecollar.com for more
information on our euro probes.
IMPORTANT :
Einstein BL-��� is designed for dogs only. Do not test the BL-��� on
humans or other animals.
Dog should be healthy during training.
Dogs below �� pounds or � months should not be tested.
When playing with your dog always remove the collar
unit.
Never leave the collar unit on the dog more than ��
hours per day. Dummy collars can be purchased for
�� hours use.

Auto Mode is great for owners who want to have the stimulation level
adjusted automatically. Not all dogs respond to the auto mode, please
make sure your dog responds appropriately before leaving him alone.
When your dog barks, BL-��� will emit an education tone and a level
� corrective stimulus.
If the dog barks again within �� minutes in this state, the education tone
and level � stimulus will be emitted again.
If the dog barks again within �� minutes, BL-��� will change the
stimulation level and emit an education tone followed by a level �
stimulus.
Each level of stimulation will be repeatedly emitted two times per level
and this process is repeated until stimulation level reaches to level �.
If the dog doesn’t bark during any ten minute increment, the stimulation
level goes back to level � and the process is repeated.
CHANGING THE MODE
sleep mode and LED is off also.
Before the BL-��� goes to sleep mode, LED will flicker based on the
battery charge level. Battery charge level is signified by the light going
from “green” (ready for use) to “amber” (need to charge soon) and then to
“red” (charge immediately).
