9.3 Troubleshooting for A2 alarms

A2 External soft
stop
•
Soft stop was triggered by an
external device (e.g. residual
hardness measurement) and a
restart is therefore not pos-
sible
•
Incorrect polarity (NO/NC)
set for the contact
•
Repair the cause of the fault
on the external device and re-
start it
•
Set the polarity correctly
•
Ask for the BWT service team
A2 Antiscalant empty
•
If antiscalant dosing has been
installed, the dosing tank may
be empty
•
If antiscalant dosing has not
been installed, the link at the
corresponding terminal may
be loose
•
Contact in the dosing con-
tainer is defective
•
Replace the AS dosing con-
tainer
•
Ensure that the contacts at
the corresponding terminal
are connected tightly (spe-
cialist personnel).
•
Ask for the BWT service team
A2 NaOH empty
•
If NaOH dosing is installed,
the dosing tank may be
empty
•
If NaOH dosing is not in-
stalled, the link at the corres-
ponding terminal may be
loose
