TPD 30/36 9.2 kW/16.9 hp P - 10
Part No 9043-A
2017-10-17
System Description
Regenerative blowers
Dustcontrol’s turbopumps are regenerative blo-
wers. The TPD 30/36 has one impeller. The impel-
ler rotate in the blower housing through extremely
low tolerances. The pump cannot tolerate conta-
minated airfl ow. The TPD 30/36 compresses air
and it is therefore natural that it becomes hot while
running.
Direct operating
The pump is direct operating by a 3-phase motor.
Cooling air
Cooling air is bled into the pump through a vacuum
relief valve, Part No 8001, which is installed on the
low side in direct connection with the pump.

Installation
1. Connect the ducting to both the inlet and the
outlet. Do not start the pump without having it
connected to the ductwork.
2. The pump inlet should always be connected to
a separator with a fi lter unit. The pump cannot
tolerate contaminated airfl ow .
3. Extra silencing can be installed if the outlet
sound level is to be lowered to approximately
75 dB(A). See Accessories.
4. If the outlet is vertical, and exposed to the
elements, rain protection should be installed.
Exhaust air can be very hot, up to 150 0C.
5. Electrical connections may only be performed
by a certifi ed electrician. A separate locka-
ble disconnect should be installed where it
is readily accessible and within view of the
pump.
6. The control panel must be equipped with an
over-load protection that should be adjusted
