7.2 Using the appliance
CAUTION
Radiated light can damage the
eyes
• Do not peer into the light source�
• Wear polymerisation eye protec-
tion that absorbs UV and blue
light�
CAUTION
The blue light of the polymerisa-
tion lamp is high energy. It can
dazzle and produces heat.
• Only use a polymerisation lamp
with light protection�
• Do not point the polymerisation
lamp at any soft tissue or unpro-
tected skin�
• Observe the exposure times�
• Observe at least 10 seconds
pause between two polymerisa-
tion cycles�
When the appliance is used as a po-
lymerisation lamp, no software and
no connection is required on a com-
puter�
If the Poly interchangeable head is
attached, the imaging software (e� g�
DBSWIN) shows no image (black)�
• Place the light protector from above onto
the interchangeable head� Carefully en-
sure that the light protector itself does not
obscure the optical element of the inter-
changeable head�
