Inserting or changing the needle

Fig. 4: Inserting or changing the needle

To change the needle:

Turn the handwheel until the needle bar (1) reaches the upper
end position.

Loosen the screw (2).

Pull the needle out towards the bottom.

CAUTION

Risk of injury from sharp parts!

Puncture possible.

Switch off the machine before you insert or
change the needle.

NOTICE

Property damage may occur!

There is a risk of machine damage, needle breakage or
thread breakage if the distance between needle and hook tip
is incorrect.

Set the distance to the hook tip after inserting a needle with
a different strength.
