26.6 Setting the folder height when the zipper is cut

Proper setting

When the zipper is cut, the folder is lowered halfway down.
The distance between the half-lowered folder and the swung-out zipper
cutter is 5 mm.

To set the height of the folder when the zipper is cut:

1. Select the menu

Service > Machine test > Test step by step

2. Sew until the zipper has been cut.
3. Loosen the screws (1).
4. Shift the holder (2).

• To move the folder closer to the zipper cutter: Push the holder (2)

downwards

• To move the folder further away from the zipper cutter: Push the

holder (2) upwards.

5. Tighten the screws (1).

Information

The closer the folder is positioned to the zipper cutter, the shorter the
zipper projection is at the next seam beginning.
