Transport clamps

Service Instructions 745-35-10 D - 00.0 - 10/2017

Checking the transport clamp quick adjustment

To check the transport clamp quick adjustment:

Uncouple both locking plates (disengage pneumatically).

Place a white sheet of paper on the sliding plate.

Press the pedal forwards and move the transport clamps to the front.

Lower the folder.

Check the distance between transport clamp and folder.

Setting the front end position of the transport clamp

Proper setting

Dimensional check for the front edge of the transport clamp:

• Spacing A (front positioning point) + sewing 15 mm.



The front edge of the transport clamp must, therefore, be at a
distance of 111+180+15 = 306 mm from the middle of the needle.

NOTICE

Property damage may occur!

The folder collides with the transport clamps while being lowered.

The transport clamp position must be adjusted to the appropriate
folder.
