8-5. Adjusting the height of the insertion roller
When a sheet for page insertion does not reach the folding stopper or strike against it during page insertion
operations, adjust the height of the page insertion roller.
Standard position: Tuned fully counterclockwise

Loosen the page insertion roller knob
screw.

Turn the page insertion roller height
adjustment to adjust the height of the
roller.
When paper does not reach the folding
stopper: Turn it counterclockwise. The rollers
move downward.
When paper strikes against the folding
stopper: Turn it clockwise. The rollers move
upward.
For side stitching and corner stitching, set the
page insertion roller height adjustment to the
standard position.

Tighten the page insertion roller knob
screw.
8-6. Adjusting the pressure adjustment lever
When a booklet does not get caught in a press roller when folded or it is ejected skewed from the press
roller, set the levers to “3.” Set the lever to the same position on either side. If the position is not the same, a
folding misalignment may occur.
Standard position: 2

Remove the pressure adjustment lever
from the pin.

Change the position of the hole on the
pressure adjustment lever.
If the problem is not solved by setting the
lever to “3,” change it to “4.”
