Controllo perno
forcellone
Verificare l’entità della distorsione del
perno (11) forcellone con un
comparatore:
posizionare il perno (11) su due
riscontri uguali;
ruotare il perno e muovere in senso
orizzontale lo strumento;
leggere il valore della distorsione.
Limite di servizio: (
0,3 mm) (Sez. C 1).
Sostituire i perni che risultano distorti
oltre il limite prescritto o che
presentano incrinature e/o
deformazioni.
Verifica gioco assiale
forcellone
La scelta dei rasamenti (3) è
necessaria in fase di rimontaggio del
forcellone.
Per verificare il gioco assiale operare
come segue:
introdurre un rasamento (3) di
spessore
1,8 mm su entrambi i lati del
motore;
tenere appoggiato il ramo sinistro del
forcellone (4) al motore e verificare
con spessimetro o con rasamenti
calibrati il gioco presente sull’altro lato
del motore.
È consentito un gioco laterale fino a
0,1 mm.
Se la lama o il rasamento di spessore
0,10 mm fatica ad entrare non è
necessario introdurre alcun
rasamento. In caso contrario sono
disponibili rasamenti da
0,20 mm e da
0,10 mm con i quali ristabilire il gioco
prescritto.

montato sul lato destro del forcellone.

Inspecting the swingarm
shaft
Measure swingarm shaft distortion
(11) using a dial gauge.
Place the shaft (11) on two reference
blocks of the same size.
Rotate the shaft and move the gauge
horizontally.
Measure distortion.
Service limit: (
0.3 mm) (Sect. C 1).
Replace shaft when distortion
exceeds the specified limit. Replace
any cracked or distorted shafts.
Checking swingarm axial
play
When refitting the swingarm, you will
need to select suitable shims (3).
Check axial play as follows:
fit a shim (3)
1.8 mm thick on both
sides of the engine;
Hold the left arm of the swingarm (4)
against the engine and measure play
on the other side of engine using a
feeler gauge or calibrated shims.
Maximum side play allowed is up to
0.1 mm.
When a 0.10 mm feeler gauge or
shim is hard to fit, there is no need to
shim the part. Otherwise, shims are
available in two sizes (
0.20 mm and
0.10 mm ) to adjust play.
