Sostituzione olio motore
e cartuccia filtro
Note
Questa operazione deve essere
eseguita a motore caldo (motoveicolo
spento) in quanto l’olio in queste
condizioni risulta più fluido e la sua
evacuazione è più rapida e completa.
Rimuovere il tappo di scarico (1) dalla
coppa motore e scaricare l’olio
esausto.
Attenzione
Non disperdere l’olio esausto e/
o le cartucce filtro nell’ambiente.
Controllare che non vi siano particelle
metalliche attaccate all’estremità
magnetica del tappo di scarico e
riavvitarlo nella coppa con la relativa
guarnizione (A).
Serrare alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Rimuovere la cartuccia (2) filtro olio
coppa, utilizzando una chiave comune
per filtri olio.
Importante
Il filtro rimosso non può essere
riutilizzato.
Montare una cartuccia nuova (2),
avendo cura di lubrificare con olio
motore la guarnizione.
Note
In alternativa, è consigliabile
riempire di olio motore la cartuccia
filtro (2), prima di montarla poichè si
raggiungerà il livello dell’olio prescritto
senza effettuare l’operazione
sopracitata.
Avvitarla nella relativa sede e
bloccarla alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Ad ogni 2 cambi d’olio è consigliabile
pulire il filtro aspirazione olio a rete.
Svitare il tappo esterno (3).
Svitare l’elemento filtrante (4) e
sfilarlo.
Procedere alla sua pulizia con aria
compressa e benzina facendo
attenzione a non lacerare la reticella.
Rimontare il filtro a rete (4), relativa
guarnizione (5) sul tappo (3) e serrare
alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Rimuovere il tappo di carico (6)
ed effettuare il rifornimento con olio
del tipo prescritto (Sez. C 2) fino a
raggiungere la tacca che identifica
il livello MAX nell’oblò.
Chiudere il tappo di carico (6) e fare
funzionare il motore al minimo per
qualche minuto.
Changing the engine oil
and filter cartridge
Notes
Change the oil when the engine
is warm (but with the engine stopped).
In these conditions the oil is more
fluid and will drain more rapidly and
completely.
Remove the drain plug (1) on the
sump and allow the oil to drain out.
Warning
Dispose of oil and/or filter
cartridges in compliance with
environmental protection regulations.
Remove any metallic deposits from
the end of the magnetic drain plug.
Refit the drain plug complete with
seal (A) to the sump.
Tighten to the specified torque value
(Sect. C 3).
Remove the filter cartridge (2) from
the sump using a standard filter
wrench.
Important
Dispose of the used cartridge,
do not attempt to reutilise it.
Lubricate the rubber seal of the new
filter (2) with engine oil before
installing it.
Notes
Alternatively, you can fill the
new filter cartridge (2) with oil before
fitting it; in this way you can maintain
the correct oil level without having
to carry out the topping up operation
described above.
Screw the cartridge into position
and tighten to the specified torque
(Sect. C 3).
Every two oil changes, clean the oil
pick-up gauze filter.
Remove the outer plug (3).
Unscrew the filter (4) and withdraw it
from the crankcase.
Clean the filter with petrol and
compressed air. Take care not to
damage the gauze.
Replace the pick-up filter (4), fit the
seal (5) to the plug (3) and tighten to
the specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Remove the filler plug (6) and fill
with oil of the recommended type
(Sect. C 2) up to the MAX line in the
sight glass.
Refit the filler plug (6). Run the engine
at idle speed for a few minutes.
