Regolatore raddrizzatore
Il regolatore (1) è fissato alla vasca
portacomponenti e si trova quindi
sotto alla sella.
Il regolatore raddrizzatore è costituito
da un corpo esterno di alluminio
contenente i diodi per raddrizzare
la corrente prodotta dal generatore.
Contiene inoltre un dispositivo
elettronico che regola la corrente
erogata dall’alternatore in funzione
della tensione della batteria.
Se la batteria è scarica, la corrente ha
il valore necessario per ripristinare le
ottimali condizioni operative
dell’accumulatore stesso.
Diversamente se la batteria è carica la
corrente ha un valore più basso.
Note
Controllare la corrente di
ricarica utilizzando lo strumento di
diagnosi “DDS” (Sez. D 5).
Smontaggio regolatore
Rimuovere la sella (Sez. E 3).
Aprire la fascetta e scollegare il
connettore alternatore/regolatore dal
cablaggio principale (fare riferimento
alle tavole riportate al capitolo
“Disposizioni dei cablaggi sul
motociclo” Sezione P 1).
Svitare le viti (2) di fissaggio
regolatore alla vasca
portacomponenti.
Importante
Non scollegare i cavi della
batteria a motore avviato, poiché il
regolatore verrebbe irrimediabilmente
danneggiato.
Rimontaggio regolatore
Posizionare il regolatore (1) sulla
vasca portacomponenti.
Bloccare le viti (2) alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Collegare il connettore alternatore/
regolatore al cablaggio principale e
chiudere la fascetta.
Note
Per posizionare correttamente
il cavo del regolatore, seguire quanto
indicato nelle tavole capitolo
“Disposizioni dei cablaggi sul
motociclo” Sezione P 1.
Rimontare la sella (Sez. E 3).
Rectifier - regulator
Regulator (1) is fixed to the
components well under the seat.
The rectifier-regulator consists of
an aluminium casing containing the
diodes that rectify the current
produced by the generator. It also
contains an electronic device that
regulates the current supplied by the
generator in accordance with battery
voltage.
If the battery is drained, the current
has the value necessary to restore
optimum operating conditions of the
battery. In contrast, if the battery is
already charged, the current value will
be lower.
Notes
Check the charging current
using the “DDS” tester (Sect. D 5).
Removing the regulator
Remove the seat (Sect. E 3).
Open the clamp and disconnect the
generator/regulator connector from
the main wiring harness (refer to the
tables in the chapter “Routing of
wiring on frame” in Section P 1).
Undo screws (2) fixing regulator to
the components well.
Important
Do not disconnect battery
cables when engine is running
because this would cause irreparable
damage to the regulator.
Refitting the regulator
Position regulator (1) on the
components well.
Tighten screws (2) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
Connect the generator/regulator
connector to the main wiring harness
and close the clamp.
Notes
To position
the regulator cable correctly, follow
the indications given in the diagrams
in the chapter “Routing of wiring on
frame” in Section P 1.
Refit the seat (Sect. E 3).
