Revisione valvola
Controllare che lo stelo e la superficie
di contatto con la sede valvola siano in
buone condizioni. Non devono
apparire vaiolature, incrinature,
deformazioni o tracce di usura.
Attenzione
Le valvole non si possono
rettificare.
Eseguire le seguenti verifiche:
misurare il diametro dello stelo (B)
e diverse altezze della zona di lavoro
della valvola nel guidavalvola.
Verificare la concentricità, rispetto allo
stelo, della superficie a 45° della
testa, sistemando un comparatore ad
angolo retto con la testa e ruotando la
valvola in appoggio su di un riscontro
a “V”.
- Limite di servizio:
0,03 mm
Revisione sede valvola
Controllare visivamente le sedi: non
deve essere eccessivamente
incassata e non deve presentare
tracce di vaiolature o incrinature.
Nel caso che la sede sia lievemente
danneggiata procedere a fresatura,
utilizzando le apposite frese a 45°
monotaglienti, e successivamente
alla smerigliatura delle valvole e la
verifica della tenuta.
In caso di danni eccessivi alle sedi
valvola è possibile eseguire la
sostituzione, utilizzando le sedi
maggiorate di 0,03 e 0,06 mm,
sul diametro esterno, disponibili a
ricambio.
Importante
In caso di sostituzione delle
sedi, è necessario sostituire anche i
guidavalvole.
Overhauling the valve
Check that the stem and the surface
that contacts the valve seat are in
good condition. There must be no
pitting, cracks, deformations or signs
of wear.
Warning
Valves cannot be ground.
Perform the following checks.
Measure the diameter of stem (B)
at various heights along the portion
that runs in the valve guide.
Check that valve head band (at 45°
to valve head top face) is concentric
to valve stem as follows: place valve
on a V block, set a dial gauge at right
angles to head and rotate valve.
- Service limit:
0.03 mm
Overhauling the valve seat
Visually inspect valve seats: valve
seats must not be excessively
recessed and must have no traces
of pitting or cracking.
If the valve seat is slightly damaged it
can be milled using specific 45° single
blade cutters and with subsequent
valve grinding and checking of the
valve-seat seal.
If valve seat is excessively damaged,
fit oversized seats. Replacement
seats are available with 0.03 and
0.06 mm oversized outer diameters.
Important
When you change the valve
seats, change the valve guides as
well.
