Operazioni di
manutenzione impianto
Attenzione
Il liquido impiegato nell'impianto
frenante, oltre a danneggiare la
vernice, è dannosissimo a contatto
degli occhi o della pelle. In caso
di accidentale contatto, lavare
abbondantemente con acqua corrente
la parte interessata ed eventualmente
consultare un medico.
Per tutte le operazioni di
manutenzione (controllo usura
e sostituzione pastiglie freno,
sostituzione liquido freni, ecc.)
vedere alla Sezione D 4.
Smontaggio impianto
freno anteriore
Svitare la vite speciale (15) di fissaggio
tubo freno alla pompa facendo
attenzione alle guarnizioni (4); sfilare
la tubazione (8) dalla pompa, allentare
i dadi (17) di fissaggio telaietto
anteriore (A) agli antivibranti (18),
sollevare il telaietto anteriore (A) e
sfilare la tubazione (8).
Rimuovere dalla tubazione i
passacavi (12).
Rimuovere la pompa (Sez. F 3).
Svitare le due viti (2) di fissaggio pinza
freno anteriore destra (3) allo stelo
della forcella.
Eseguire la stessa operazione per la
pinza freno sinistra (
10 ).
Svitare le viti speciali (6) su entrambe
le pinze e separare le pinze freno
anteriori dal tubo (8) recuperando
le guarnizioni (4).

Maintenance operations
Warning
Brake fluid is corrosive and will
damage paintwork. Avoid contact
with eyes and skin. In case of
accidental contact, wash the affected
area with abundant running water and
consult a doctor if necessary.
For maintenance instructions
(brake pad wear check and renewal,
brake fluid change, etc.) refer to
Section D 4.
Removing the front brake
system
Remove the banjo bolt (15) securing
the brake hose to the master cylinder,
taking care not to lose or damage the
sealing washers (4); withdraw the
hose (8) from the master cylinder;
loosen the nuts (17) securing the
front subframe (A) to the rubber
mountings (18), raise the front
subframe (A) and withdraw the
hose (8).
Remove the grommets (12) from the
hoses.
Remove the brake master cylinder
(Sect. F 3).
Unscrew the two bolts (2) securing
the right-hand front caliper (3) to the
fork leg.
Repeat the operation for the left-hand
caliper (
10 ).
Unscrew the banjo bolts (6) on both
brake calipers and disconnect
the calipers from the hoses (8),
recovering the sealing washers (4).
