ANTERIORE (900)
La forcella del Suo motociclo è regolabile sia
nella fase di estensione (ritorno) sia nella
compressione degli steli.
La regolazione avviene per mezzo dei registri
esterni a vite:
A) (fig. 14.1) per modificare il freno idraulico in
estensione;
B) (fig. 14.1) per modificare il precarico delle
molle interne;
C) (fig. 14 .2) per modificare il freno idraulico in
compressione.
Ruotando le viti (A e C) di regolazione avvertirete
degli scatti, ognuno dei quali corrisponde ad una
posizione di smorzamento.
Avvitando completamente la vite fino a bloccarla
si ottiene la posizione “0”, che corrisponde alla
massima frenatura.
A partire da questa posizione, ruotando in senso
antiorario, si possono contare i vari scatti che
corrisponderanno successivamente alle posizioni
“1”, “2”, ecc.
Le posizioni standard sono le seguenti:
compressione:
6 scatti;
estensione:
6 scatti.
Il valore massimo è di 14 scatti (estensione), 14
scatti (compressione) a cui corrisponde la
posizione di minima frenatura.
Per modificare il precarico della molla interna ad
ogni stelo ruotate il registro ad estremità
FRONT FORK ADJUSTERS (900)
The front fork of your motorcycle has rebound
and compression damping adjusters.
This adjustment is done using the outer
adjusters:
A) (fig. 14.1) to adjust rebound damping;
B) (fig. 14.1) to adjust spring preload;
C) (fig. 14.2) to adjust compression damping.
As you turn the adjusting screws (A and C), you
will hear them click. Each click identifies a
setting.
Turn the screw all the way in to set the hardest
damping. This will be your starting point.
Now turn the screw anticlockwise and listen for
the clicks that identify setting positions no. “1”,
“2” and so on.
Standard factory setting is as follows:
compression:

rebound:

click.
The setting range is 14 clicks for rebound and 14
clicks for compression. The 14
th
click gives the
softest damping.
To change the preload of the spring inside each
fork leg, turn the adjusting nut (
B, fig. 14.3
) with
a 22-mm/0.87 in. hexagon wrench.
Preload setting range (1, fig. 14.3) is from 25 to
10 mm/0.98 to 0.39 in.
Factory setting is 18 mm/0.71 in.

La fourche de votre motocycle est réglable tant
en phase d’extension (détente) que de
compression des tubes.
Le réglage s’effectue grâce aux éléments
extérieurs à vis:
A) (fig. 14.1) pour modifier l’action hydraulique
d’amortissement en extension;
B) (fig. 14.1) pour modifier la précharge des
ressorts intérieurs;
C) (fig. 14.2) pour modifier l’action hydraulique
d’amortissement en compression;
En tournant les vis (A et C) de réglage, on entend
des cliquetis: chacun correspond à une position
d’amortissement.
En serrant complètement la vis en butée, on
obtient la position “0”, correspondant à l’effet
d’amortissement maximum.
A partir de cette position, en tournant dans le
sens inverse aux aiguilles d’une montre, on peut
compter les différents cliquetis qui
correspondront aux positions “1”, “2”, etc.
Les positions standard sont les suivantes:
compression:
6 cliquetis;
extension:
6 cliquetis;
La valeur maximale est de 14 cliquetis
(extension), 14 cliquetis (compression) auxquels
correspond la position minimale
d’amortissement.
