Refitting the camshaft
Push the camshaft bearing (5) fully
home against head wall (
10 ) using a
suitable drift.
Fit the circlip (14) in its groove.
Renew the seal (3) at each
reassembly. Fit seal into its seat on
the right side of head (
10 ) with the
side without the spring positioned as
shown in the figure.
Insert the spacer (4) into the seal (3)
and push it until it contacts the
bearing (5).
Note
Fit the spacer (4) with the
rounded off side facing the seal, or
the seal will damage.
Rimontaggio albero
distribuzione
Utilizzando un apposito tampone
portare il cuscinetto (5) supporto
albero distribuzione in battuta contro
la parete della testa (
10 ).
Posizionare l’anello seeger (14)
all’interno della propria sede.
Inserire ad ogni rimontaggio un anello
di tenuta (3) nuovo nella sede sul lato
destro della testa (
10 ) con il lato privo
di molla rivolto come mostrato in
figura.
Inserire il distanziale (4) all’interno
dell’anello di tenuta (3) fino a portarlo
a battuta contro il cuscinetto (5).
Note
Assicurarsi, prima del
rimontaggio, che il distanziale (4) sia
rivolto con il lato smussato verso
l’anello di tenuta in modo da non
danneggiarlo.
