5. INSTRUMENTS AND CONTROLS

Function of the controls
1) Gearshift lever (Fig. 1)
Selects two speed ratios. Proceed as indicated by the layout on the handle-bar panel (Fig 2).
a) Allow the engine to idte by lifting the accelerator(7), (Fig. 1)to the highest position.
b) Disengage the clutch by fuily puiling the lever (3),(Fig. 1).
c) Move the gearshift lever to the desired position.
d) Gradually let out the ctutch lever (3) while lowering the accelerator (7) to accelerate the engine.
WARNING
Since the machine is a reversing model, the gearshift and PTO controls will be inverted when the
handle-bar is turned through 1800 (see Fig. 2 sticker on the panel)

2) PTO mode selector lever
This lever has two positions:
PTO at standstill
(NEUTRAL)
PTO operating
(INDEPENDENT)
3) Clutch lever (Fig. 1)
- Pull the lever = clutch disengaged.
- Release the lever= clutch engaged.
4) Motorstop control lever (Fig. 1).
- Leverdepressed = engine operating.
- Lever released= engine stopped.
5) Handle-bar side release lever (Fig.3).
Allows side release of the handle-bar for 1800 rotation.
