3.4.3.3
Traffic Rules
Traffic rules allow certain traffic between the transmitter and other devices.
The transmitter comes preconfigured with all needed traffic rules, so
adjustments are only needed for custom applications.
3.4.3.4
Custom Rules
Here you can setup custom firewall roles by entering Linux commands. Only
for experienced users.
3.4.4
Diagnostics
This tab makes some handy debugging tools accessible. You can ping other
web services, or execute a traceroute or nslookup command.
3.5
Targa Decoder
The Targa Encoder tab is the most important tab. It includes all settings
needed to configure the audio and video streams, as well as other Targa
specific features.
3.5.1
Status
Here you can see an overview of the receiver’s status.
When video or audio are received and decoded the “Incoming packets”
counter will be incremented continuously. If a jitter buffer is used, you can
see detailed statistics of the jitter characteristics. If a high amount of out of
sequence, duplicate, lost or too late packets occurs you should check the
internet connection of the transmitter and the receiver.
If an audio return channel is sent you will see incrementing counters for
encoded and streamed packets.
Under “Video – Evaluation” you will see statistics for the functions of the
Evaluation
sub-tab (see chapter 3.5.3).
When using the CAN tunnel feature, you can see whether the tunnel is up
and running and the latest Status message from the CAN tunnel application
will be displayed.
